FAQs
Ratings
Companies are rated based on verified trade transactions, financial history, product diversity, trade consistency, geographic spread and country risk profile.
RRR.Global uses various market and publicly available information, financial filings, information provided by third-party data partners and user-submitted documentation.
Ratings are reviewed quarterly or upon receipt of verified updates, appeal outcomes, or dispute resolutions.
RRR.Global operates as a neutral/unbiased trade authority and indexes/rates companies based on available data regardless of opt-in status. A company that has been rated independently by RRR.Global can opt out of the rating system, however a clear message indicating the opt by the said entity will be displayed. However, disputed entities cannot exercise this option.
Star ratings (1 to 5) reflect a composite score of a company’s trade strength, reliability, compliance, reputation in trade and business credibility.
Certification
The Verified Global Business (VGB) certification is an esteemed international trust credential conferred upon companies that have achieved a minimum rating of three (3) stars or more. This rating signifies that the business has undergone comprehensive verification by RRR.Global and has demonstrated a consistent and credible track record, as well as a reputation within the sphere of exports-imports. It is recognized as an ‘indicative’ mark of legitimacy and transparency, providing assurance to international buyers, partners, and other stakeholders engaging with the certified entity.
Any organization or company with an active and verified profile on the RRR.Global platform is eligible to apply for the VGB certification, provided it has attained a rating of three stars or above. Eligibility is contingent upon the completion of due diligence procedures, including KYC verification and other globally acceptable profile assessment. RRR.Global strives to ensure that only those entities with a proven operational history and credibility are recognized by its certification.
To initiate the certification process, a company must first claim its business profile on the RRR.Global platform. Following this, the applicant must complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification procedure by submitting all relevant corporate documents and identification materials. Once the documentation is reviewed and approved, and the business has received a rating of three stars or higher, the Verified Global Business (VGB) certification is formally issued.
Yes, certified companies are granted authorization to use the Verified Global Business (VGB) certification badge across their official digital and print communication channels in specified formats and colours. This includes placement on corporate websites, email signatures, product brochures, digital proposals, and marketing materials. Upon successful certification, the organization will receive high-res badge files along with detailed usage guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation.
The Verified Global Business (VGB) certificate is issued for the current/running calendar only. To maintain the certification status beyond this term, businesses must undergo a renewal process that includes re-verification of credentials, resubmission of required documentation, and confirmation of continued compliance with certification standards, to ensure that RRR.Global’s rating and certificate reflects only the most current and accurate profile of the business.
Appeals & disputes
To initiate an appeal (concerning your company’s rating), log in to your business profile on the RRR.global platform and select the “Appeal” option. You will then be prompted to submit revised or updated documentation, along with a concise explanation outlining the grounds for your appeal. This process is designed to ensure transparency and provides companies with a fair opportunity to present new evidence or correct any discrepancies that may have affected their initial rating.
In support of a rating appeal, a business is encouraged to provide relevant documents to reflect its trade activity and compliance status. Acceptable forms of documentation may include recent trade invoices, legally binding contracts, international shipping and logistics records, payment confirmations, compliance certificates, or any other related and relevant official paperwork that substantiates the company's credibility/performance in foreign trade.
Once an appeal has been formally submitted through the RRR.Global platform, it enters a structured review and evaluation process conducted by our internal verification and compliance team. Applicants can expect to receive a decision regarding the outcome of their appeal within 5-7 business days. In some cases, further clarification or additional evidence may be requested.
Yes, RRR.Global provides a structured mechanism through which verified users may initiate a formal dispute against another registered company. To do so, the complainant must submit a detailed description of the issue, along with supporting evidence such as email correspondence, contractual documents, transaction records, or other verifiable proof. The dispute resolution process is designed to promote transparency and accountability in export-import transactions.
Companies that are designated as disputed entities due to unresolved complaints or ongoing investigations may face temporary or indefinite consequences, including but not limited to the suspension of their star rating and public listing on the Disputed Entities List maintained by RRR.Global. RRR.Global shall also communicate the nature and evidence of the disputed entities to the concerned embassies/government departments and trade associations to ensure accountability. Being designated as a disputed entity can adversely affect the company’s credibility and may influence the decisions of prospective trade partners and clients until the matter is resolved. RRR.Global does not take any responsibility for the damages (business and reputation) that may result as an outcome of being designated as a disputed entity.
IBIN & company lookup
IBIN stands for International Business Identity Number. It is a globally recognized and system-generated unique identifier assigned to every rated entity listed on the RRR.Global platform. The IBIN serves as a digital fingerprint for companies engaged in foreign trade, allowing participants and stakeholders to distinguish between similarly named entities, prevent misrepresentation and ensure greater transparency in international business transactions. It plays a critical role in standardizing identity verification, fostering trust in global commerce and streamlining due diligence processes across borders. Each IBIN is exclusive to a specific legal entity and remains constant, even if other company details change over time.
You can easily locate your company’s IBIN by logging into your business profile on the RRR.Global platform. The IBIN is prominently displayed at the top of your company’s profile page for a quick reference. If your company has not yet been claimed or verified, you can still locate the IBIN by searching your company name in the listing section.
Yes, RRR.Global supports direct search functionality using IBIN. Users may input either a company name or an IBIN into the platform’s search bar to conduct a verification check. Searching by IBIN offers a more precise method of identifying the correct business, especially when multiple entities share similar names or operate in the same sector or region. This feature ensures accurate validation and helps prevent confusion or errors during buyer or supplier vetting.
Each legally registered business entity/operational branch entity listed on RRR.Global is assigned a distinct IBIN. This is to ensure clarity in identification and traceability across multiple locations or subsidiaries. If your company operates under different names or registration numbers, each profile will be issued a separate IBIN. However, authorized representatives from an entity can claim and link related profiles to indicate group/network/organizational relationships.
